Top 100 Website Great Britain & Ireland Top 100 Golf Courses List
In their 2025 edition there are four courses that are included in the list but don't feature in the comparable Golf Monthly, National Club Golfer and Golf World rankings. Queenwood is not the most accessible venue and therefore cannot be seen elsewhere, not necessarily based on quality, whilst the others are; Narin & Portnoo, Delamere Forest and Royal Dublin.
Significant work has taken place at both Irish venues so it may just be a case of the others playing catch-up on these two courses.
There are no courses which are not included on Top 100 list but do feature in all three of Golf Monthly, National Club Golfer and Golf World.
Dubbed as a "reset" this list saw some significant changes with Portmarnock, Royal Birkdale and Woodhall Spa dropping considerable places whilst St. Enodoc, Ardfin, Prestwick, West Sussex, Rye and Walton Heath are a handful of courses shown favour with impressive climbs within the rankings.
Placing more of an emphasis on the golf course architecture side of things one could argue they have tried a little too hard to favour the more en vogue venues but overall the Top 100 website has undoubtedly produced a rock solid list which will only continue to improve over time. Indeed they have stated it will be tweaked again in the Autumn.
