Please note that we have stopped the list at 25 for Ireland as we believe the quality at 25th place is roughly the equivalent to 100th place in the English list, 50th place in the Scottish list and 20th place in the Welsh list.
As usual the list is a good one and highlights the best Irish golf courses.
Comparing it to the comparable lists from National Club Golfer magazine and the Top 100 Golf Courses website the main omission is St. Patricks Links at Rosapenna since the list was produced prior to the course opening.
Meanwhile, Lough Erne, Castlerock and Mount Juliet all feature here but are not in either of the other two lists.
