National Club Golfer Top 50 Scotland

National Club Golfer Top 50 Golf Courses Scotland List

National Club Golfer Magazine produced a Top 100 Scotland in 2018. The results can be seen below.

Please note that we have stopped the list at 50 for Scotland as we believe the quality at 50th place is roughly the equivalent to 100th place in their English list.

The methodology placed an emphasis on the number of times and how recently the panel had played the courses.

Comparing it to the equivalent lists from Golf World and the Top 100 website there are four courses included here that do not make the cut in both the other two lists; Crail (Balcomie), Gleneagles (PGA Centenary), Moray (New) and West Kilbride.

The only course which you might have expected to see and does feature in the other two lists but not here is Fraserburgh (Corbiehill) whilst Ardfin and Dumbarnie Links were not open when this ranking was produced.

Golf Empire founder, Ed Battye, who was a panel member has played the majority courses on the list (all of the top 50) and below you can find links to his golf course reviews with his own personal thoughts.

You can also view other magazine rating lists.
